Adelle Platon is a writer, storyteller, on-air personality, and content creator with a decade of experience crafting compelling narratives for world-renowned brands and publications. Her pen — and pun game — is razor-sharp.

Most recently, Adelle brought her talents to Netflix as a writer and editor on the Creative Writing Strategy team, where she spun captivating synopses and messaging for everything from scripted and nonfiction series to live events and product campaigns. She also championed her community as the co-lead of the Asian Employees @ Netflix Employees Resource Group.

Before Netflix, Adelle was the editor of culture and content at the music streaming platform TIDAL. There, she produced and hosted the series "Side Hustle" and made contributions to the interview series "In Conversation" and the podcast "Inside My DNA." Her episodes of "Side Hustle," featuring heavyweights like Nipsey Hussle, Rick Ross, and E-40, have racked up over 1.7 million views on YouTube.

Earlier in her career, Adelle made waves at Billboard as the hip-hop editor, generating a 20% increase in the Billboard Hip-Hop website audience traffic with top-notch coverage and news-breaking exclusives. She also co-hosted the sports-meets-music podcast "Ballin' Out." On the red carpet, she wrangled interviews with legendary artists at the 2017 GRAMMY pre-show, which drew 5.5 million views across Facebook and Twitter.

Adelle's writing journey kicked off at VIBE, where she tackled features for the website and magazine. She authored a 2014 cover story on Jhené Aiko and has sat down with icons like Oprah, Spike Lee, and John Cena among others. Her bylines have also made it to RollingStone.com, Teen Vogue, BET, UPROXX, and Hella Pinay.

In college, she cut her teeth with internships at NY1 News, The Rachael Ray Show, the NBC Page Program, and ABC's 20/20 and What Would You Do?. Her first paying gig in journalism was weekend overnight booker at ABC's Good Morning America.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Adelle now calls Los Angeles, California, home.
